Job brief
As a Combo Pipe Welder, you will be responsible for using Stick, MiG, Tig, and Flux Core welding techniques to weld various components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Responsibilities
- Stainless steel pipe welding experience
- Carbon steel pipe welding experience
- 5P Roots 7018 filler and cap
- TIG Root and 7018 filler and cap
- Orbital welding set-up not mandatory but a plus
- Stainless Steel tube experience a plus
- Basic understanding of pipe fitting / rigging
- Self-motivated and able to work alone and in small teams
- Minimum 6 Years’ experience, or trade school
- Professional communication skills and ability to work with clients
- Proficient in reading blueprints
- Must have experience in Stainless TIG Pipe Welding and Fabrication
- Must be capable of handling heavy objects
Requirements
- 6G combo weld test
- Must pass a drug test
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation
